Played this course for the second time in about 8 years as I live in San Diego. If I lived nearby I would play this layout more often. The front nine is open and forgiving and contains holes that are more rolling and interesting. The back nine is tighter with more trees, water, and narrower. The holes are entertaining and you never feel bored. I played this course as part of an SCGA Qualifier and the course was generally in great shape although the greens were a bit hard and bumpy and the bunkers need a bit more sand. Other than that criticism, the course was very enjoyable to play and a real challenge but fair. Nice staff also. A real good range although both of the practice greens are near the first and tenth tees and not real convenient for practice. Don't miss this course and try to combine it with the two 18 hole courses right across the freeway called Tukwet Canyon.

This course is the best kept secret in the Valley. When you first check-in, you find the staff friendly and helpful in any needs you may have. They have a great breakfast or lunch depending when you want to eat. The waitresses are wonderful and never leave a coffee cup empty (a must in my book). As far as the course goes, if you never played, be prepared for challenging round of golf. The fairways are perfect as well as the greens. The greens are a challenge however. I continue to play here weekly because no other course beats this place in the valley.

We played this course in the SCGA two man best ball tournament championship in October of 2012. Course was in good shape. Fairways were awesome bit the greens were very slow compared to my home course. As for the challenge, this course was incredible. It forced you to club down on some holes and stretch out your club distance on others. Greens were next to impossible to read from a single vantage point. Had to do a complete 360 on most puts. Had the greens been in better shape, the score would have been much higher. Location of course is suspect so it is not a destination course, but if you get the chance to play it - go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Great golf can be played here. Becomes more difficult if shots are not in the correct spots. Greens are subtle.

Excellent course and a very good value. Winds can be high in this area, especially if the wind is from the east (Santa Ana's), but Oak Valley offers more protection than the Morongo courses across the freeway. Always in good to excellent condition.

One of the best courses and layout in the Inland Empire area. Home to a couple of LPGA players.

As a former professional caddie, I recommend this course very highly. A classy establishment at an excellent price. That about sums it up.

I live about an hour away from Oak Valley in a area very well stocked with nice courses. I make a point to play Oak Valley at least once a year. Going there soon to watch 1st stage of Q-School. Always in good shape, fun to play, and has a great driving range. There is also a nice moderate priced hotel that is walking distance to the course.

A FANTASTIC CHALLENGING COURSE. EACH HOLE IS SCENIC. COURSE HAS UNDULATING FAIRWAYS, AND DIFFICULT GREENS. A TRUE LEARNING EXPERIENCE. IF I LIVED CLOSE BY IT WOULD BE THE ONLY COURSE I WOULD PLAY.
